Product Details
Marine fire pumps are specialized pumps installed on ships, offshore platforms, and other marine working environments. They are used as unpowered fire pumps, fixed fire extinguishing systems, or other fire-fighting facilities, serving as dedicated equipment for conveying liquid fire-extinguishing agents such as water or foam solution.
Marine fire pumps feature fully sealed design, leak-free operation, and corrosion resistance, and are widely used in environmental protection, water treatment, fire protection, and other sectors. Their core parameters include flow rate (m³/h), head (m), rotational speed (rpm), net positive suction head required (NPSHr), driving power (kW), working pressure (MPa), etc. These parameters must strictly match the vessel type, compartment layout, and classification society requirements.
All equipment must hold type approval certificates or product certificates from major classification societies (such as CCS, DNV, ABS, LR, etc.). This is a mandatory requirement for onboard installation. Certification covers the entire process of design, materials, manufacturing, and testing, and is not a one-time procedure — factories must undergo regular audits by classification societies.
Requirements include 24-hour continuous operation capability, vibration resistance, tilt and sway resistance (typically 22.5°-45°), and salt spray corrosion resistance, making them suitable for harsh environments such as ocean-going voyages, polar routes, and high-temperature and high-humidity sea areas.
